CHHS Now Offers Guitar Class for Beginners!

Anyone who would like to learn guitar is welcome to join the class!

We will learn basic skills needed to play guitar, read guitar music,
perform basic maintenance and modifications on a 6 string guitar.

Instruments will be provided for students to use for the year -
but students with their own guitars are welcome to use them!

The class is designed exclusively for learning 6 string guitar (acoustic and electric),
but we will also learn skills that can transfer to learning bass guitar, 12 and 7 string guitar,
and other plucked string instruments.

Students who already play guitar and would like to improve their skills
should enroll in JAZZ BAND CLASS instead. Guitar class is strictly for the novice.
